Required Travel Documents – Vital Records

American citizens born in the U.S. require either a passport or an original birth certificate from Vital Records in the city where they were born. A hospital copy will not be accepted. (This may change at any time to a Passport only). Also a valid photo ID.
The ONLY Valid Photo Identification is,
1. Valid Driver’s license (Any State)
2. Valid State ID Card (Any State)
3. Military ID
4. Valid Passport
Please note that copies of birth certificates are not acceptable. American citizens born outside the U.S. require either an American passport (valid or expired by up to 5 years) or an original naturalization certificate accompanied by a valid photo ID. U.S. permanent resident aliens must present their non-expired alien resident card accompanied by a valid photo ID. Canadian citizens require either a Canadian passport or a Canadian citizenship ID accompanied by a valid Canadian photo ID. All other travelers must have valid passports from their country of origin in conjunction with a multiple entry U.S visa and if necessary a Bahamian visa, please check with your nearest Bahamian Consulate.
