Dr. Ben-Ezra highlighted the ideal getaway as a Friday departure, with a return on Sunday evening, followed by a day of relaxation on Monday before resuming work on Tuesday. This structure maximizes the benefits of a short break without the guilt that can accompany longer absences. Even a brief “mini-cation” can offer significant restoration.
