On behalf of all my officers, staff and crew, I wish to welcome you
aboard Imperial Majesty’s
S.S. OceanBreeze and wish you and your traveling companions
a wonderful vacation. We
have planned for you an exciting cruise with many enjoyable activities,
entertainment and exquisite cuisine.
We also provide an incredible opportunity to visit one
of the most beautiful beaches in the Bahamas, Blue Lagoon Island,
made famous by the movie “Splash” and of course the TV show “Gilligan’s
Island”.
The S.S. OceanBreeze is a classic ocean liner built in Belfast, Northern
Ireland in 1955 and christened by Queen Elizabeth II. The OceanBreeze has a passenger
capacity of 1,001 and an international crew compliment of 391. The vessel’s cruising speed is 20
knots, her gross tonnage is 21,667 and she measures 604 feet in
length. The ship
to shore call sign is C6FN9.

In order to comply with the United States Coast Guard regulations,
a lifeboat drill must be held prior to sailing. You will hear seven
or more short blasts on the ships bells and whistles followed by
one long blast. Please return to your cabins, read the safety information
sign behind your cabin door, put on your lifejacket and proceed
directly to your muster station.There will be staff in the hallways
to assist you. |

The S.S. OceanBreeze will pick up the Harbor Pilot at approximately
8:00am and we anticipate being along side by 9:00am. Please wait in any of the public
lounges or on the open decks for the announcement that the ship
has been cleared by Bahamian Customs Officials. Please keep clear of the Purser’s
Lobby until you hear the announcement. When proceeding ashore, take with
you your boarding card and some form of photo identification for
your return to the vessel.
Please remember, all aboard at 5:30pm as the S.S. OceanBreeze will set sail
at 6:00pm.
The S.S. OceanBreeze will be docked at Prince George’s Harbor which allows
a comfortable walk to Bay Street, the major shopping district
of Nassau. U.S. currency
is widely accepted for all purchases, however we do recommend
that you request U.S. currency for change.
The Bahamian Dollar is on par with the U.S. Dollar.
Take advantage of “The Best of Both Worlds”, tickets are still available
for the most beautiful beach in the Bahamas, the island of Blue
Lagoon. Take the first tender over, meeting
at 9:00am and after lunch and some fun in the sun, return to Nassau
on the 2:00pm or 4:00pm tenders for a little shopping. Remember: All aboard is 5:30pm.

Blue Lagoon Tender Service
Blue Lagoon is an island that we recommend to give our guests the
best possible beach experience.
Transportation to this beautiful island is provided by
a tender (smaller boat that holds 300 passengers). Guests holding tickets may meet
in the Rendezvous Lounge at either 9:00am or 11:00 am. It’s your choice. Tenders returning to Nassau from
Blue Lagoon will depart at either 2:00pm or 4:00pm. It’s your choice.
All tours will meet and depart promptly from the Rendezvous Lounge/Promenade
Deck Forward. Bring
your white boarding cards, photo identification for your return
to the vessel, the yellow or blue towels provided in your cabins
and you might want a little cash.
Check your tour tickets for meeting times.
